Hi Irakli,

Great question. The Scenic Ribbon is actually the style that is used in Windows 7 and in Office 2010. We are shipping the Scenic Ribbon in Silverlight and Windows Forms. There was some discussion on whether we would be able to get the Scenic Ribbon style in for WPF, so I can't answer that yet. I will post an update once I find out more. Which platform did you need the Scenic Ribbon for?

Keep in mind as well, that once Office 2010 ships and is "official", we will have Office 2010 Styles across the controls.

@cheers - we are no longer adding new features to the Express version, so as of the 9.1 release, the Express version feature stack is frozen.

@Brian - we didn't make any changes to the Outlookbar, so that is odd. What is the CLR error? In the mean time, I'll ask DSManager to open up a case for you.

I just installed and now any of my controls that contain the OutlookBar do not load. The controls just freeze when loading. I get a CLR error after waiting several minutes. There is not any errors given from the VS Studio debugger.

@Irakli - We will definately support the new VS2010 themes as they get baked in by Microsoft. Normally, what you see now is NOT what you'll see in the RTM, so we wait to make sure. As far as the new Windows 7 Scenic Ribbon which you might have seen in Pain and MovieMaker for Windows 7, this is on the backlog but I can't give a date just yet. I'll keep you posted via the blogs as to when this will start to appear.

Hi Jordan! Great to see you online! Right now, we are replacing the data layer with an ADO.NET Data Services implementation, so we are on the home stretch for finishing up the app. In the next 3 weeks, we'll have the whole thing posted and ready to go. We won't post the source for the WorkspaceItem control (yet), we are in the process of getting it in the nightly builds and it'll end up in a product CTP at some point in the next few months.

will there be any update to the Excel-Exporting functionality? The main improvements for me are setting autofilter or adding workbook internal hyperlinks?

Yes, this is on the roadmap. I cannot give you a firm date on the release for this, as we get further along for this year, I will be able to give more details on the Scheduling strategy.
