Devscovery in NYC nearly sold out!

The Grand Prix of Programming – Tuesday Night

Bill Zack and Peter Laudati of Microsoft wanted to do a special user group meeting in NY as an ancillary event to Devscovery given the collective star power we will have there.  We suggested they invite folks to attend the Grand Prix of Programming on Tuesday and then stay after for some informal tech talk with some of the presenters.  They sent an email out late Wednesday this week.

Devscovery 2008 - Wintellect & Infragistics technical conferences

OK I don't usually have that much to say but Infragistics has stuff going on these days and I just want to do my part to make sure you don't miss cool happenings. So MIX was great and the treasure hunt ROCKED - go ahead admit it - you're jealous of the folks who got in on the ground floor. Anyway - that was a really cool thing we did in partnership with Wintellect and Microsoft, and now we're doing it again.
So - DON"T miss this opportunity.
Check out Devscovery 2008 - it's a technical conference like it always has been, but this time Infragistics has partnered with Wintellect and we've added 2 more major tracks (that's 22 new sessions) so now it's also an Infragistics User Event too! There's two this year - one is very soon:

New York City, April 1^st – 3^rd.
Redmond, August 19^th – 21^st.

We'll have a bunch of our Infragistics VIPs there - either presenting or meeting folks in person, plus other VIPs: The most well known technical folks in the industry will be there - Jeff Prosise, Jeff Richter, and John Robbins are very well known and respected. It’s a unique time to learn more about technologies, best practices, anything a person would need to know about the development industry.  Get this - Attendees can also sign up for a 30 minute 1 on 1 with any speaker they like to discuss whatever they like. Very cool.

Join Infragistics and Wintellect at MIX 08

Hey folks so MIX 08 is coming up fast and Infragistics will be there full force - Look around you while you're there and you're bound to see at least one of us within earshot (wait is that some sorta Yogi Berra thing?) Well, besides how loud our IG guys can be when they're let loose in a casino full of Microsoft technology, check out the special event we are sponsoring with our partner Wintellect - The "Bring Silver to Light" treasure hunt!
Hey if you did NOT already register for this event, well.... that's what happens when you opt out of a mail list - sometimes you miss something really cool going on.... anyway there's always next year. 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Rules are presented, timeline spelled out; eat hors d’oeuvres
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Hit the streets of Las Vegas to Bring Silver to Light
9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Return to Treasure Island; upload photos into Silverlight applications; eat dessert, coffee, drinks; turn in completed application and collect goodie bag.

The participants are getting a ton of really cool swag from Wintellect, Infragistics and Microsoft; free stuff is always gooooood.
If you are getting in to Vegas a little early for Mix, come on out and check out the fun with the Bring Silver to Light event. Plot your plan to be involved next year......

An excellent review of our ASP.NET controls

I just got a look at a really great, detailed article on our ASP.NET controls!!! If you haven't checked out the latest aspnetPRO mag - grab your copy and check out the Infragistics review! Hey - that guy Mike Riley - I think I like that guy! One thing though - all of our controls are AJAXified - and in synch with ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX release at this point, for Version 2006.3

You could read the article online if you don't have the printed mag http://aspnetpro.com/productreviews/2007/03/asp200703mr_p/asp200703mr_p.asp - and maybe consider subscribing too anyway since it is a great code-level pub for ASP.NET developers.
