Does this hot fix correct issue with the atlas control toolkit? Particularly the modal popup?

Jim - I'm not sure I know the issue you are talking about. We haven't done a whole lot of testing with the Atlas Control Toolkit yet. Have you reported the problem to our Developer Support team yet?

The behaviour seems a bit improved, but it still doesn't work satisfactorily. I have a datechooser on the same page as an Atlas UpdatePanel, but not actually in the UpdatePanel, with the autopostback enabled, and it seems to "hijack" the Atlas updatepanel and use an AJAX postback. If I have just an Atlas ScriptManager control on the page and no UpdatePanel, the datechooser throws an "Unkown error" message and fails to postback. Seems like someone has implemented a sloppy work around under the assumption that if a scriptmanager is present on the page, it should be used for the datechooser's postback. Not very happy with this toolset that was supposed to be Atlas compatible. We're about ready to ask for a refund.

How do I install the hot fix?
I downloaded the hot fix, but it doesn't work. I don't know if I have installed the files correctly.

Wade - Can you post this to the Infragistics Forums (http://forums.infragistics.com) along with your code, or submit it to our Support Department? I tried to reproduce it with no luck so far.
Thanks,
Tony

Manel,
The hotfix will install itself by running the MSI. Be sure that the references in your application are pointing to the correct hotfix version (6.2.20062.1038). This includes checking the ASPX <%@ Register ...%> directives, as well as the web.config assembly add section.

Hello again

The hotfix doesn't have an MSI file. There are only dlls in the zip file (20062_ASP.NET_CLR2x_APTCA.zip).

Thank you for your help.

Hi Manel - That zip is specifically for those requiring deployment to a Medium/Low trust environment. If you aren't having trouble with SecurityExceptions then you likely don't need these assemblies and should contact our Developer Support Department for access to the full hotfix.

Tony-
The issues I described above seem to be from the browser caching the javascript files. I expected the fixes were implemented in the DLL's, so I didn't bother flushing the cache. After doing so, things seem to work better, but I have found a few lingering issues. I also still have to add the empty STYLE tag after the update panel to get things looking right. I will see if I can throw together a test project to post to your support department, since I can't just upload code from the project I'm working on.

Thanks Wade! I'm going to test with the July CTP to see if that pesky style problem has been addressed yet. Unfortunately, that is one issue that we can't do anything about; it must be fixed in the Atlas libs.

Ok, I just uploaded a pretty "dumbed down" sample project with my support request: WbS1656. The basic gist of it is: WebDateChooser controls added at design time seem to work fine with Atlas now, but those added dynamically at run-time don't seem load their styles correctly. This results in a transparent background for the calendar pop-up, among other things.
