Anything and everything ASP.NET and more. Expect to see tips and tricks, opinions on new technology, and fun code samples, along with the occasional rant.
Back from Orlando

For any of you who stopped by the booth to chat at DevConnections, it was great talking with you!  For those of you who couldn't make it, perhaps you can come to TechEd in June.

The show seemed to be a large success.  The booths were open even during sessions this year which was a first.  Good news to the speakers.. the exhibit hall was like a ghost town during sessions.  It got a little boring at times, but luckily we had 300 stress balls on hand.  I'm not really sure what we would have done without them.  It got a lot more exciting between sessions, when the hall would get packed!  Throwing stress balls out into a crowd really can be a lot of fun, but so is doing a demo for a live audience that just keeps growing in number.  Of course, my goal was to attract more people on my side than Andrew Flick could for his side.  We had ASP.NET on one monitor, and WinForms/WPF on the other.  I'm not sure if he was aware of the competition, but something tells me he was thinking the same thing..

I also finally had the opportunity to finally meet Dino Esposito face to face!  He held a full day workshop there which hopefully you got the chance to attend.  If not, I definitely recommend you make time in your schedule to go to his talk at TechEd.

All in all, a good show!

Tony,  one comment that my colleagues took back from TechEd last year was that the only person that they got to interact with at the Infragistics booth was a sales person.  I think that it would be invaluable to get some face time or class time with you.  Will you be working any breakout sessions during TechEd this year?  If not, is there a recommended time of the day which it might be better chance to meet up with you?

Tell your colleague not to be shy next time!  We actually had more technical people at the booth this year than sales people funny enough.

I'll try to schedule some time at TechEd.  I'm planning on attending a whole host of sessions - maybe I'll publish my schedule so you can catch me before/after/during...
