Hello, I am trying to figure out what all was changed in the hot fix 2058 versus the 8.1 release. Is there an easy way to do this other than a search in the KB? I searched for 8.1.20081.2058 and got about 450+ bug fixes in the Winforms suite, does this sound correct? Has there really been 450+ bug fixes since the 8.1 release that are no in the 2058 hot fix?

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

Searching the KB won't get you any recent bug fixes - we stopped posting bug fix information to the KB in July 2005, and instead started posting them to the search page these links lead to.

The search for 8.1 list all bug fixes that were applied for 8.1, regardless of whether it was applied before the original release build or to a later build.

There's no easy way to determine what fixes were applied after the initial release.  The only way you could find this information would be to search build-number-by-build number on our bug search page, starting wtih the build number after the release build and continuing up through 8.1.20081.2058.  In addition to the build number, you'll want to look for issues whose State is "Closed".

You can create a custom search on the following page of our website:

http://devcenter.infragistics.com/Protected/IncidentBugReportSearch.aspx

You can use the "Export to Excel" function of this page so that you can bring the results of each search together on a single page.
